Meet the Builder

Steve Austin resides in Davis County, with his family, and they truly feel blessed to raise their family in beautiful Northern Utah.

Born and raised in Utah, Steve has a deep appreciation for the homeowners he works with and the land upon which they build. His personable demeanor establishes a confident, professional relationship with clients and a neighborly standard of communication. When building a home for a family who is moving from another state, Steve enjoys being one of their first impressions of Utah hospitality.

Steve Austin Homes was founded in 2003.  Having worked in construction since the age of sixteen, Steve Austin, has always had a passion for craftsmanship and quality building.  He started as an apprentice painter, then in true entrepreneurial spirit, launched his own painting company.  Quickly, the business thrived, and Steve immersed himself in all facets of the home building process from painting, to framing, finish/trim carpentry, concrete flat-work and drafting, to name a few. Because of this, Steve works side-by-side with subcontractors and can quickly identify and streamline quality processes to ensure a successful build for every homeowner.  His expectations are high on every aspect of a home’s assemblage, and with his extensive knowledge and background of experience, those who work for him respect his knowledge and meet his standards.

Even after many years in the building industry, when asked, Steve admits that every part of the building process continues to inspire him with each new project he encounters, but quickly adds that the most enjoyable part of his profession is when former clients become some of his very dearest friends. He will always enjoy stepping on to a piece of property, though it may be rough and undeveloped, and beginning to imagine, see, and define its underlying potential. Over a period of time, that area is soon developed into a quality, yet beautiful, demonstration of architecture, combining timeless colors and textures that have come together to make a place of serenity for his home buyers.  For his valued clients, Steve doesn’t just build houses, but a place they can proudly call home.
